CP Ayotunde Godwin Omodeinde is a distinguished officer in the Nigeria Police Force, currently serving as the Commissioner of Police at the Special Fraud Unit (PSFU) in Lagos. He hails from Ijebu North East Local Government Area of Ogun State and has a strong educational background in Psychology

CP Omodeinde is known for his commitment to teamwork, discipline, and integrity, making him a respected figure in the Nigeria Police Force

Commissioned into the Nigeria Police Force on May 18, 1992, as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police, Omodeinde has undergone extensive training at the Police Academy Annex in Kaduna.

His career is marked by various significant roles, including Officer-in-Charge at multiple police stations, Divisional Police Officer, and Officer-in-Charge of the Police Training School in Calabar. He has also served in the IGP Monitoring Unit in Abuja and held several key positions in ICT and operations

The PSFU encourages the public to report fraud cases and provides channels for submitting complaints and relevant documents

The PSFU is dedicated to investigating and prosecuting serious and complex fraudulent cases both within and outside Nigeria

The PSFU serve as an internal resource within the FCID, conducting research and investigation into potential fraudulent activity.
